For the very first time, the Marathon de Bordeaux Metropole will welcome disabled athletes who will take on the mythical 42.195km distance through the streets of Bordeaux.
Among the 20,000 participants, French and foreign disabled athletes will be urged to push themselves beyond their limits and beat their records.
the disabled athletes will be able to follow the same route in complete security, and the public will be able to cheer them on. They will start together with both other races. Athlete whose disability allows them to run up and unaccompanied will start simultaneously with valid athletes.
No specific classification will be made.
Due to a hilly course, only be accepted, people running up together (visually impaired) and Joëlettes. The limit number is 10 joelettes.
